Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and LiveHint.ai ("LiveHint", "we", "us") for your use of the LiveHint desktop app, the website at livehint.ai, the dashboard and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Who can use LiveHint

You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use LiveHint for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account and your computers secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Sign out any computer you no longer use from the dashboard, and tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

What LiveHint does

LiveHint provides AI-generated suggestions based on what you type, what's on your screen, the audio you choose to share, and the resume and notes you provide. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it. LiveHint is a tool to help you prepare and think, not a substitute for your own knowledge and judgment.

Following the rules

You are responsible for how you use LiveHint. Many interviews, exams, certifications and assessments have rules about outside help, and some prohibit it entirely. You agree to:

• follow the rules, policies and instructions of any interview, exam, assessment or meeting you use LiveHint in;
• get any consent required by law before recording or transcribing other people, since some places require everyone in a conversation to agree;
• comply with all laws that apply to you.

LiveHint does not encourage breaking any rule or agreement, and we are not responsible for the consequences if you do.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent or deceptive toward others in a way that breaks the law;
• upload content you don't have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• try to access other users' data, probe or break our security, or get around plan limits or rate limits;
• reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from LiveHint, except where the law expressly allows it;
• share your account or tokens, or automate use of the Service beyond normal personal use;
• interfere with the Service or place an unreasonable load on it.

We may suspend or limit accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or write, such as resumes and notes, and of the questions you send. You give us permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you provide.

The answers LiveHint produces for you are yours to use, subject to these terms and to the rights of others. Because AI output isn't unique, other users may receive similar answers.

Plans, limits and payment

The free plan includes a monthly number of hints, which resets on the first day of each month (UTC). Paid plans, when offered, are described on the website at the time you buy. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. We may change plans or prices with notice before your next renewal.

Availability and changes

We work to keep LiveHint running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.

Ending your use

You can stop using LiveHint and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after termination.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise any particular result, such as passing an interview or receiving an offer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, LiveHint won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims made by others that arise from your content or your breach of these terms or the law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app before they apply. Continuing to use LiveHint after changes take effect means you accept them.
